This market predicts whether Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi will hold another in-person official meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on or before December 31, 2026.
Japan and the United States maintain a close alliance and cooperate across security, trade, investment, energy, and broader Indo-Pacific issues. Takaichi and Trump have already held a formal bilateral meeting in Washington in 2026, making any additional summit-level meeting between the two leaders a closely watched political event.
This market will resolve Yes if Takaichi and Trump hold another official face-to-face bilateral meeting in their capacities as Prime Minister of Japan and President of the United States before the deadline.
Phone calls, video conferences, meetings between government representatives, or simply attending the same international event without a formal bilateral meeting will not count.
Resolution Date:No later than December 31, 2026
