Will the U.S. Consumer Price Index increase by more than 3.0% year-over-year in August 2026?
The event will resolve to "YES" if the headline CPI All Items year-over-year percentage change for August 2026 is greater than 3.0%.
It will resolve to "NO" if the reported figure is 3.0% or lower.
The initial CPI release published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics will be used for settlement. BLS currently schedules the August 2026 CPI release for September 11, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. ET.
